At Scollard Family Dentistry, our team is the heart of everything we do. Each member is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care while creating a comfortable and welcoming experience for every patient. From your first phone call to your time in the treatment chair, we strive to make every visit feel positive, informative, and stress-free. Our knowledgeable professionals take the time to listen, answer questions, and tailor care to your individual needs, ensuring you feel confident and supported throughout your dental journey.

Jacqueline

Dental Hygienist

Jackie is a dental hygienist and a 1991 graduate of STCC. Energetic and passionate about patient education, she enjoys helping patients understand and take ownership of their oral health. To balance the physical demands of her profession, Jackie also teaches yoga, bringing calm, relaxation, and mindfulness into both her work and daily life. She is known for her excellent Pandora music selections and often receives compliments from patients. An animal lover, Jackie shares her home with three cats and a rescue dog, Annie, and she is a proud mother of two sons.

Shirley

Dental Assistant

Shirley is a 2005 graduate of the Porter and Chester Certified Dental Assistant program. She is a dedicated new mom to her son, JJ, and is deeply committed to his growth, health, and overall well-being. Professionally, Shirley specializes in orthodontic assisting and brings valuable experience to our Invisalign program. Outside of work, she enjoys baking—especially pies—which reflects her creativity and attention to detail.

Sarah

Dental Hygienist

Sarah is a dental hygienist and a graduate of STCC, known for her punctuality, strong attention to detail, and consistently friendly demeanor. She is conscientious in her clinical work, ensuring high standards of patient care while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Reliable and consistent, Sarah creates a positive experience for patients through her professionalism, warmth, and commitment to excellence.

Tiesha

Dental Assistant

Tiesha is an on-the-job trained dental assistant who went to STCC for X-ray certification and serves as the lead dental assistant to Dr. Scollard. She finds great satisfaction in the positive impact of transforming patients’ smiles and helping build their confidence. Outside of the office, Tiesha is an avid gym enthusiast who enjoys spending time with family and watching anime. She also has a talent for decorating her personal workspaces and has a love for the color pink.

Jessica

Dental Hygienist

Jessica is a dental hygienist and a graduate of the University of Bridgeport. She is a devoted animal lover, sharing her home with three cats and her beloved Jack Russell mix, Roxy. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys entertaining friends and family, spending time by the pool and relaxing on the deck. Caring, friendly, and fun, she brings the same warmth and positivity to her personal life as she does to her professional role.

Yasmeen

Administration

Yasmeen is a seasoned dental professional with over 15 years of experience in both clinical and administrative roles. Often referred to as a “Jane of all trades,” she is known for her versatility, reliability, and patient-focused care. She is continuing her education while balancing her career and family life, and she enjoys spending time with her family and being by the water whenever possible.
